The Pharmacy Operations Manager will join a progressive hospital in this system which exemplifies the excellence and achievement that is core to the system's mission and vision.Reporting to the Hospital Director of Pharmacy, the Pharmacy Manager will play an important role in the Clinical and Administrative Operations at this Community Medical Center. Supported by two Technical Supervisors and three Pharmacy Department Leads, the Manager will join an environment built on open collaboration and teamwork. Additional support comes from a tenured team of Pharmacy Techs, many of whom are PharmD prepared with PGY1 and/or PGY2 residencies, who work on the front lines of clinical pharmacy care.This Manager will oversee Administrative and Clinical Pharmacy Operations at this busy Acute Care Hospital. The Pharmacy Department in this facility is exceptionally outfitted with fully integrated cutting-edge information systems which are fully help with ordering inventory, improving patient safety, drug usage reporting, and cost tracking.Along with the day-to-day of Inpatient hospital Pharmacy Management duties like staffing, inventory control, and regulatory compliance, the Operations Manager will also get to focus on a wide array of operational and clinical challenges - playing a major role in addressing those challenges head on. This is the perfect role for someone who wants to leave a long-lasting mark through tackling complex organizational puzzles with wide-ranging effects on patient care and quality improvement.Operationally, the Pharmacy Manager will develop multiple initiatives addressing best practices and efficient operations within the department, as well as developing staffing and quality assurance methods that will scale with growth.
