  • Job Details
  • Travel RN position in the Emergency Department at Bay Area Medical Center, Corpus Christi, TX.
  • Unit has 16 beds with 8 hall chairs and a staff of 6-7 per shift.
  • Patient ratios are 1:4, with low acuity ESI 4 & 5, may take 6.
    • Job Requirements
    • Must have Level II or Level III trauma experience.
    • Required certifications: TNCC, ENPC or PALS, ACLS, BLS.
    • Preferred certifications: CEN or TCRN, CPI.
    • Greater than two years of emergency department experience.
      • Schedule Information
      • Mandatory shift huddles at 7am and 7pm for all staff unless providing critical care.
        • Unit Specific Information
        • Type of equipment includes Cardiac Monitors, Baxter IV pumps, HP's, Tonopen and more.
        • EMR system is Meditech with vital signs flowing into the chart.
          • Additional Details
          • Unit is transitioning from a Level IV to a Level II trauma hospital.
          • Focus on timely care for Stroke, STEMI, Sepsis, and Trauma patients.
