_$2000 Full-Time New Hire Bonus!__Registered Nurse (RN) FT Night Shift with 2 years ER Experience _We are currently seeking a highly-skilled, compassionate, and reliable emergency room nurse to serve in the emergency department of our growing free-standing emergency center. In this role, you will deliver exceptional patient care alongside a team of dedicated health professionals. To succeed in this position, you will be confident in your skills, committed to exceptional patient care, and safety-aware at all times. We are hiring for a FT night shift position at our Corpus Christi location.*Role Qualifications:* Current Texas RN Nursing License or Compact State License in good standing. Two+ years of *recent* Emergency Room experience as an RN Current ACLS, BLS, PALS certifications Pass background check(s) Must have exceptional technical skills (IV, Foley, NG tubes, splinting, wound care, etc..). Ability to work in a high-pressure environment while maintaining excellent patient care and customer service Ability to work all shifts including day, evening, weekends and holiday hours as needed Effective team player Detail oriented with exceptional interpersonal communication skills Efficient time management skills with ability to anticipate workflow and perform synchronous tasks Basic typing and computer proficiency, preferably experienced with Windows, Microsoft Office, EMR/EPM systems, etc... Active participant and willing to learn and perform labs as ordered by physician Support and assist team with basic facility maintenance such as emptying trash, unpacking linens and orders received and keeping the facility tidy. Other duties as assigned.*Laboratory Duties:* Ability to learn and master immunoassay instrument procedures including running calibrations, controls, reagents, detergents, sample testing and all consumables. Ability to learn and master simple daily immunoassay machine maintenance. Complete training in use of laboratory equipment and required documentation _to _comply with all OSHA and CLIA standards. Patient interview and documentation relevant to completion of lab required paperwork Decanting of urine specimens into sample tubes and completion of immunoassay testing per protocols within standard operating procedures (SOPs) and/or instruction manual for laboratory machines. Perform laboratory testing on patient samples per SOPs and instruction manuals, including proper daily controls and intermittent calibrations as required. Perform corrective actions as required and simple routine maintenance of lab equipment as instructed in training, SOPs, and equipment instruction manuals. Prepare report of machine assays in such a fashion that can be placed into the physician's medical records. Contact equipment servicer, Lab Director, Clinical Consultant, or technical consultant as needed for assistance. Dispose of hazardous and non-hazardous waste per OSHA guidelines Properly prepare labs billing sheets, and supply billing company with copy of patient insurance face sheet and insurance ID card by FAX transmittal or as otherwise required. Maintain proper inventory of consumables, office supplies, and paperwork necessary to continue daily operations. Assist in Lab operations as directed by Nurse Manager or other delegated authority. Such duties may include but are not limited to inventory management accounting and marketing. Report immediately to Nurse Manager any clinical, equipment, or business issues that arise during operations that are unusual, hazardous, disruptive, or that require corrective actions.*Physical Demands and Work Environment: *The physical demands and work environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
