Job DescriptionFocus Staff is seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist to fill a travel position in Corpus Christi, Texas.Key Responsibilities

• Operate magnetic resonance imaging equipment to produce high-quality images of patients' bodies for diagnostic purposes.
• Under the direction of the Chief of Radiology and the Imaging Services Director, perform related technological functions to ensure optimal diagnostic quality of patient care.
• Interview patients to explain MRI procedures, address concerns, and exhibit exceptional tact, courtesy, and poise when interacting with patients, staff, and visitors.
• Ensure patient and staff safety by explaining safety protocols, requesting removal of hazardous metal objects, and monitoring patients via closed-circuit TV.
• Orient new hires and train MRI Technologists, students, and trainees.Requirements
  • Two years of continuous recent experience as a MRI Technologist, with proficiency in all duties required of a MRI Technologist II.
  • License in the required state.
  • BLS certification.
  • Knowledge of MRI protocols and procedures.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to present information in one-on-one and small group settings.
  • Ability to learn applications relevant to the position.Benefits
