Job Description Summary:
The purpose of this position is to provide administrative direction and support for the areas within the Student Enrollment Center on the Heritage, Windward, and Oso Creek campuses. The Director of Admissions oversees the Office of Admissions and provides leadership in developing and implementing innovative recruitment strategies and initiatives designed to attract students to the college. This is accomplished by providing management of personnel; overseeing all Admissions, Recruitment, Call Center, and Customer Relationship Management Systems (CRM); maintaining software for all areas encompassing the Student Enrollment Centers; developing and monitoring departmental budget; establishing policies and procedures; and coordinating communications operations. Other duties include serving on various committees, being knowledgeable of curriculum and degree requirements, and being skilled at conflict resolution.

This position will be utilized to grow the outreach efforts of the college and to pursue areas in which outreach is not provided. Additionally, this position will provide recommendations to management to develop implementation to improve the student onboarding experience while working closely with other student support services. The expansion of efforts will include onsite visits, coordination of outreach events, and assisting surrounding ISD faculty, students, and the community. This is accomplished by a strong integration between outreach specialists and other admissions personnel, both of whom will report directly to the Director of Admissions.


Minimum Qualifications:
Master's degree AND three (3) years of Higher Education experience in Admissions and/or Enrollment
-OR-
Bachelor's degree AND seven (7) years of Higher Education experience in Admissions and/or Enrollment


Proficient computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office, ERP, and CRM
